Independently licensed, master’s prepared mental health professionals, including:

Training Requirements

A minimum of 36 hours of continuing education outlined in the educational requirement section of the standards. Learn more about NATC certification training requirements.

Please note that Evergreen Certifications does not offer continuing education, all training must be purchased directly through the accredited training organization. Training is not included in the certification fee.

Additional Requirements

Complete and pass Part 1 and Part 2 of the certification exam with a 70% or higher score.

Application Process

  1. Complete a qualifying training
  2. Complete certification exam
  3. Upload the following documents to your account:
    1. A copy of the candidate’s professional license
    2. Evidence of completion of qualifying training, in the form of a CE or completion certificate
    3. A completed application form, found here
  4. Remit your initial certification application fee of 249.99 USD online

Renewal

To maintain certification, a renewal is required. After your initial 2-year certification, you have the option to renew for 2 years. The 2 year renewal requires the of 15 hours of continuing education in any of the following topics: i. Narcissistic abuse/Antagonistic relational Stress ii. Psychological/emotional abuse iii. Personality disorders iv. High-conflict custody/divorce issues v. Domestic abuse/violence/intimate partner violence vi. Coercive control

Renewal Process

  1. Complete a qualifying training
  2. Upload the following documents to your account:
    1. A copy of the candidate’s professional license
    2. Evidence of completion of qualifying training, in the form of a CE or completion certificate
  3. Remit your renewal application fee of 149.99 USD online
